La Onda Bajita – Across Indian Lands- KPFA-June 16th

Welcome to “Across Indian Land” (8:30-9 pm) on “La Onda Bajita” a Chicano low-rider show. Tonight we'll discuss a new film documentary titled “Taking Alcatraz” recently screened in SF. Mr. Eloy Martinez, a Alcatraz Island warrior during its takeover in November 1969, talks about his view of the film. Also, Ms. Sacheen Littlefeather joins the discussion to give her perspectives and names of 14 Alcatraz warriors of 1969 who deserve honorable mentions.
